What is needed to get my business up and running?

First, you need to find an accessible, high traffic location for your Ice Machine. Secondly, make sure the location has accessible water and electricity. Once that has been confirmed, you need to check on all permit requirements (if any) for your locale. Some cities may require the machine to be tied to the city sewer for drainage.

What are the buyer's responsibilities?

  1. Securing a location. Lease or buy a spot.
  2. Secure and provide all permits and utilities (electrical and plumbing hook-ups) per State/City Codes.
  3. All site improvements for the machine.
  4. State forms
    • "Sales Tax and Use Exemption" Certificate (fill out, sign and mail to Dealer)
    • "State Sales and Use Tax" Permit - Ice is taxable. Water is non-taxable.
    • "State Food Manufacturing License" - Required to sell ice.
  5. All Agreements signed and returned to Dealer
    • Sales Agreement
    • Maintenance Agreement
    • Buyers Responsibilities
    • License Agreement
    • Limited Warranty Document
    • Warranty Acknowledgement Document
    • Warranty Registration Document
  6. Financial and Sales Order Form
    • Initial deposit (40% of total cost) and a completed Sales Order Form shall be submitted to Anytime Ice & Water of Texas prior to the order of a machine.
    • Remaining balance due upon notification from Anytime Ice & Water of Texas seven (7) business days prior to delivery of the machine from Kooler Ice.
    • Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees of the machine from Kooler Ice to Anytime Ice & Water of Texas
    • Possible Financing of the machine (see above).
  7. Service Machine
    • Maintain cleanliness of your machine and location.
    • Minor mechanical adjustments and machine maintenance.
    • State required sample testing for Ice and Water and results maintained.
    • Load bags, add twist-ties.
    • Watch your business and investment grow.
